nutmegfriar
Light rain commenced in Old Lyme (CT) about 20 minutes ago. I am SO happy to sit this ice mess out. Brought in two loads of firewood, got the recyclables to the street for tomorrow, and am settling in with dinner going and power at full on! Rainy day tomorrow but I'll have hot leftovers at the office! Good luck to those in the ice...stay safe!

moneypitmike
Is this precip arriving earlier than epected? I thought it wasn't until closer to 10:00p.m. I'm picking up my daughter's friend in Shelburne this evening--hopefully before any icing (expect to be there at 7:00p.m, back to ORH by 8:30)
Connecticut Appleman
35/28 with light rain. Wind has had a southerly component to it all day. I'm assuming a northerly component will kick in at some point otherwise it will just be cold rain, which is OK with me.

WinterWolf
But I’d go on the low side with the ice if I were a betting man though.

Sugarloaf1989
39/28 overcast. I cautioned my dad to be careful going onto the deck or taking out the trash. He slipped and fell on ice on our deck several years ago. Thankfully he was okay.
