cleetussnow
Figured I’d just show myself in and take a seat. Not feeling good about the pattern for the next 2 weeks. It’s the 80s again.

A "C" is a realistic grade for down here with barely over 6" of snow and no solid single to event to account for. C is average. This Dec is average. Even our snowstorm was dragged out and pretty boring.
EastonSN+
The last time I experienced back to back below average snowfall winters was 2006 2007 and 2007 2008. The last time I experienced below 33% of average snowfall was 2001 2002. I may have to pay the Piper!

SnoSki14
As mild as the 1st half of Jan looks, the 2nd half could be record breaking. If those teleconnections are correct we'll likely have a large eastern ridge in place and for a very long time. Some signs of that already from today's models. A top 5 record warm January for parts of the Mid-Atlantic/Northeast wouldn't surprise me. 1
