I think there was a b2b 62F in there and 4 days in the 60s with a couple of 59s.

dendrite
Consecutive 63F and 69F at BOS in early Jan 2007. I think I even hit 66F or something in that. Consecutive 67F and 62F in 2008 as well. 1995 had 3 straight days of mid 60s

CoastalWx
Pretty sure 2007 ended with convective showers. I think there was wind damage at MHT with that fropa.

ORH_wxman
I remember the 1995 disaster because we had one of our few snow events right before it happened. Stuff vaporized in minutes, lol.

Yeah, couple days ago was walking the dog in the woods... Mud, Fog, pulled a tick of him and a strong skunk aroma. Deep winter appeal here in CT. WinterWolf
A lot of hyperbole in here this morning. As if 60's never happens in SNE/CNE in January?? As the records show it happens more than we think. Even in 2013 it got nice and toasty for a day or two(upper 50's/low 60's) at the end of January right before we snapped back into winter and then the Big-on came in. Yesterday we had Will talking about how good the 11-15 was looking(PNA ridging and all that good stuff); this morning it's back to the Panic Chamber. Guess we'll have to wait until 12z to lift everybody's spirits again.

We didn't know Feb 15 was waiting for us/you either. No one would have thought that was waiting for us. Or Feb/March of 13? Or March of 18 for that matter. I guess that's part of the fun when you really think about it. If we knew the end result, it'd take a lot of the fun out of it. Maybe more of the same is waiting for us..very well could be??? It's happened before, maybe it'll happen again this time with another Ratter for us?? Hoping not.
