dryslot
The s/w was a little more amped down south this run so it was slightly further north of the 06z run but still was quite a bit of snow to the north and a mix in the southern areas of NNE/CNE. The link below from the Aussies has a good database of historical MJO values. It appears that we do poorly when in a lousy state like high 4/5 etc., but many epic stretches have occurred when we are dicking around the COD...for instance February 2015. http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/mjo/ Edit: February 94 was high 4/

Snowstorms of more than 10 inches aren’t supposed to grow on trees. We’ve been very fortunate lately.

SnowBrosForever
Light beautiful little flakes here on Casco Bay. Unfortunately, just conversational snow. 24/

Owner is a long time friend from childhood. Took the leap of faith 6 years ago and they're going strong. Unfortunately they stopped distribution out of state and I haven't been able to get up there in a couple years. I personally love the Paradigm and Battle Axe DIPA. Perhaps the most awesome inversion I've seen from GFS - can't recall ever seeing modeled temps colder at H9 than at H5 (and 13C below H8 for AUG.) Verbatim AUG's 1.5" qpf looks 1/4 RA, 1/4 ZR/IP, 1/2 SN in that order. Highly doubt that sequence.

STILL N OF PIKE
can anyone post Euro 2m temps around 6z Sunday and 12z Sunday. Trying to see if the boundary is faster AND/OR further N/S than 12z gfs
