Your location shows as Bolton Landing. Probably 1"-3" snow with 2"-4" in the Albany area. White Plains less than one inch and then sleet/freezing rain (probably 0.10"-0.20" freezing rain). HVSnowLover
Surface temps warmer than I would've expected honestly. Yea we are starting to see some dynamic cooling, dewpoints should allow temps to still drop a few degrees across the area as precip intensifies

So temps should get to around 32 or so. Inland another story. They could have problems. Sent from my Lenovo TB-X605F using Tapatalk

SnoSki14
I'm glad to avoid the ice but another cold rainy super soaker is beyond depressing. Models give us solid 1-2" amounts. Give me 01/02 or 11/12 over this crap any day.

Enigma
In the past 5 years, we've become too reliant on algorithm based products. Fundamentally sound forecasting through use of experience and avoidance of fantasy, has gone out the window.
HVSnowLover
Part of the issue I think is the precip is too light, part of what got me a bit more excited earlier was seeing heavy precip come in quick, that is what you need for front end surprises in these type of events, otherwise you end up with a few hours of a sloppy mess.
