CoastalWx
One other thing possible, we may have two “max” zones. One maybe near central MA into adjacent or NW CT? This due to initial dynamics residing as it changes to snow before drying out. Then, another area in RI and SE MA. This from the second wave mixing in near 12z. Could be an area that gets less than 1-2” in between. 1

USCAPEWEATHERAF
I think there is a chance Cape Cod, especially from HYA to Provincetown, MA could see enhanced snowfall as the lift will combine with the moist and unstable air mass over the Cape and Islands could lead to some higher snow totals, 4-6" in a band or two. The water vapor shows the atmosphere is being amped up, instead of the modeled amped down.

The 4 Seasons
I know it's not really comparing apples to apples but the radar right now (seems) to look a lot better than progged fx radars at this hour from the NAM/HRRR and other models. Alot of the obs are light though some a couple SNs
