John1122
Roads are a mess here if not on the heavily salted areas. As I spoke about this morning, after dark + below freezing + snow rate = bad roads even if it was 55 yesterday. Big miss by MRX given that they were confident of advisory level totals.

Stovepipe
This skinny band that just moved through Farragut is dumping nickels and dimes on me. Best snow of the night so far here. 3
John1122
I went into the local mexican restaurant at 7:05. My front and back windows clear and the main highway was snow free. I came out at 7:35 and there was 3/4ths inch of snow on my front and back window and the main highway is now snow covered. It's been coming down very heavily. 3
jrips27
I’m about 20 minutes outside of Chattanooga coming up from Atlanta. Looking at stopping at Athens, TN. Not looking to get stuck just looking to see some good snow fall. Is Athens a decent spot?
Stovepipe
35-40 dbz stuff moving south of Wartburg. I bet they're ripping fatties over there. 1
ShawnEastTN
Sitting right at 2" hoping that band sitting right on the edge of the plateau holds together as it slowly works east. Would love to pick up another inch.Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

I hate to say it, but it looks like some dry air is starting to work in west of there, so not sure how well the moisture in AL will hold up, but it's probably as good as anything without making it up to the plateau here. How's it looking right now @McMinnWx?
PowellVolz
Interesting.... the radar just keeps feeding this assembly line right up the valley. .

How's it looking right now @McMinnWx? It’s not bad here, right now. There’s a lull in the snow. There’s a Fairfield Inn right off Exit 49. edit: We only have a dusting. If that moisture materializes, we will have more. From here, he could get to the Cherohala Skyway pretty easily. I’d say there’s some good snow up there.

Holston_River_Rambler
Grandview would actually be a good spot. State highway runs all the way up to the top of the plateau from Spring City there and is a fairly gradual slope. HWY 68 runs from I-75 over to HWY 27. @jrips27

Kentucky
Hasn't snowed in northern Whitley, since I posted the screenshot earlier. LUL, that's really just incredible.

Holston_River_Rambler
I think I'm getting close to 4 now admittedly on the the deck, but still. Most snow I've seen in December since 1995. 2
