PhineasC
Just a dusting here. Didn't even really accumulate under the trees at all. Looks like a more solid dusting in Millville, DE. They win again!

WxUSAF
Looks like the I95 split hinted at by the euro and NAM before last night did occur with jackpotville locations around 1” and a secondary max of about 0.5” SE of the urban corridor. Biggest issue was precip dried out generally.
WinterWxLuvr
Some say these types of events work sometimes. With all due respect to all, these types of events may sometimes work east of the blue ridge but they almost never work to the west. There’s no disappointment here because I just knew this was coming. I hoped but I knew not to get invested.

I hate to say it but when the NAM cut the snow totals to almost nothing it nailed it.

EastCoast NPZ
A dusting. Hooray! For all the celebrations of this non-shutout December pattern, we are on pace to get yet another December shutout here. Since 2013, I have recorded 2" of december snow. That is 2" over a 6 year span. Yes, I have already declared a shutout for the the rest of this month.

winterymix
Maybe 1/4" in Reisterstown. More importantly, I awoke at 12:45 AM and at 3:30 am, only to turn on the outside lights and check out authentic, genuine nighttime flake-a-rama. Snow lovers definitely have an extra brain lobe that awakens them when it snows in the early hours of darkness.
