With the ground so saturated, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a lot of trees down. Going to turn to severe weather soon. I have a gut feeling we miss out on decent March snows this year. Maybe a fluke rogue system but I see nothing that is hinting at a favorable late season pattern after next week tbh. Weeklies hinted at HL blocking but will probably be too little too late. We dont even have the widespread cold bottled in the HL this year, more like some idolized arctic air focused around the PV and that's it. Many unfrozen bodies of water that are usually solid ice, ssts still AN, etc. I say bring on the thunder, striped bass, and Phillies (and hopefully Flyers playoffs)!! CoolHandMike
Maybe I'm looking at it wrong, but I see zero indication of any rotation in the relative storm velocity. It actually looks like it glitched out for a few frames, I'm wondering if that automatically triggered the warning? I mean, look at it: https://weather.cod.edu/satrad/nexrad/index.php?type=DIX-N0S-1-48 It's just wacky

KamuSnow
That got the adrenalin going, lol. Strong winds, branches breaking, even heard a rumble of thunder. No tornado thankfully. We were sitting on the porch and for a moment I thought we should maybe go inside, but it blew through pretty quickly.

Lady Di
We have partical sunshine here. 38degrees WNW @ 22 and gusting around 30. When I was out earlier judging by the branches down and trees swaying we definitely experienced higher gusts earlier. Will I see a flurry Sunday morning? We had brief white rain last Sunday afternoon and it sure looked nice. Gotta take any little bit
The Iceman
Lot's of moving parts but there is a chance of a fluke next week. It will likely fail but there is a chance we thread the needle. I mean we're due right?
