It would also be nice if there was an incoming HP which wasn't such weak sauce at 1024, lol! If that was a 1040 or better we'd have a totally different situation on our hands but we have nothing but LP's all over the place. Need HP's to supply Cold Air, remember Air flows from HP towards LP and if there are none, what do we expect, lol! Look at the Surface, all LP's no HP's except the baby I talked about!

How's this compared to models? Faster/slower? If this intensifies quicker than the models maybe we will still see a surprise.

I still think we will eke out 2-4" here.  But as Freak mentioned, the precip will be pulling away as the thermal profile improves so it'll be a bit of a race between these elements.

The mon/tues system seems like it may be a similar category of snowfall.

If the Rgem has its way, we won't really get anything out of this...and we would have to rely on some lake effect action. And we know how that goes........
