DeltaT13
The secondary low is officially deeper than the OG low. Now the remnant parent low will act as a bit of an inverted trough to focus precip back this way as upper level support moves through. The next 6-9 hours are when I need to cash in. Looks like all snow from here on out. Surface temp is 32 and just started to drop over the last 20 mins. Down from 33.4

Stash
Over 6" now, still pouring snow. Solid couple hours of S+. The back edge slowed down as it approached the area, so hopefully it's a decent sign of things to come out this way

rochesterdave
Snowing nicely in Pittsford. I love the look of radar. Matches up nicely (perhaps even NW) with short range products. Let it snow baby!

Already received 3-4” and 9 hrs into a 36 hour event...with the heaviest stuff overnight, not worried about getting the shaft. Whether it’s 8” or 15”...I am good and don’t consider a bust by any means.

TugHillMatt
Looks like precipitation is starting to blossom on radar. I am curious as to why short term models are discrediting it.
Syrmax
Some bright returns down I-81 towards KBGM and Cortland NY. Looks like the mixed precip isn't done yet as KBGM lastest obs were 5 and 6 mile visibility...that's not SN with those returns and vis.

Almost continuous S+ since 2PM. I'm not due to measure again for a little bit, but it is rapidly approaching double digits if it's not already there. I'm not sure how much more we'll see here in ENY once this "Part 1" is done later this evening, but this has been fun.
