Scherzer is even uglier... he will be paid $35 million both this upcoming season and in the 2021 season when he is 35 and 36 years old

From age 37 to 43 he will be receiving $15 million per year in deferred money

does deferred count against the cap?

Jets are pretty beat up and lack talent overall. Unless the Ravens simply overlook them(not likely) it should be a pretty easy win. The last 2 games are more concerning, as they are divisional and are always hard fought. We owe the Browns as they kicked our buts at home early.

Those games might not mean anything though, especially if the Pats drop the Bills game. At worst I don't see the game against Pittsburgh being one we need for HFA.

I think the answer is yes, but it’s the average annual salary of the contract, including deferred money.

So, even though some of the 245 million may be deferred, 35 million a year counts towards the luxury tax for the next seven years. I think that’s right, anyway.

I mean this with all due respect but I honestly can't remember the last time anyone got a long range guess correct.

10 days ago we discussed in detail how this week looks to have the best potential for snowfall this winter so I respectfully disagree.
