WxUSAF
Got precip overnight but temps didn’t cooperate it looks like. Actually spiked while it was snowing or raining. Either way just wet now.

More snow than I saw in December 2018...

mappy
not a thing in Hunt Valley -- as expected, got south of Belfast road and poof, snow was all gone. Congrats Carroll County residents on your snow!

Congrats Carroll County residents on your snow! Mappy, here in 21093 west of 83, we had a car topper, deck coating and mulch covered in spots. Just a trace...

George BM
The HRRR has been 'bullish' on some convective showers moving through the DC metro between 20-22z this afternoon. With fairly steep lapse-rates from 600-700mb to the surface I wonder if anything frozen hits the ground in the most intense showers... assuming they form. Winter Wizard
Woke up to a wet ground. I'm guessing that band in NoVa died out before reaching Annapolis and/or temps didn't cooperate. Edit: yup, NAK and BWI both reported light rain. IAD recorded light snow.

Yes, I know, but for light snows in moderate temperatures it is usually OK. I just let it melt down into the inner tube for my liquid equiv. reading. jonjon
WWA for 3-7" for tonight here. On top of the several inches we got earlier this week it looks like cross country skiing will be a go for Whitegrass' Jack Frost on Saturday!
nj2va
I could watch my Ring cameras at Deep Creek for days when it’s snowing there. Looks like deep winter with big dendrites. Good start to the season for the mountains.
