Just wondering, was there something I said in my comment that spurred it to being delete in a banter thread? I thought it was optimistic.

Theres a thread for the climate change stuff, it tends to ruin the regular threads because people cant control themselves. Wasnt your comment at all, it was anything to do with it.

Justin isn't one of those people though. He is an actual scientist, whose research is tied into climate change , and hardly anyone goes to the climate thread. I assumed banter was ok for anything. But whatever.

Thanks just wish there was some notification or something so I don’t think I’m going crazy. It’s tough with a 16 month old even making sure I leave the house with pants some mornings.

I didnt say he was “one of those people”. I said the climate stuff ruins threads, and seeing as how this is a discussion forum, other people discussing it might be “one of those people”, and so there is a climate change thread to discuss it.

I'm hoping to set up a snowmaking system at home so this would actually work well for me.

@Midlo Snow Maker planted that seed in my head years ago but I’ve never got around to setting one up.  He’s the king of home snow making.

Not for me it isn't. I taught it for ten years. I just disagree with BX. Banter should be for anything, but now it can't be for climate change because "one of those people" might start up with their nonsense? I'd say those views belong in banter, not a serious discussion thread. But it ain't my board, and in truth I do try to avoid being baited into a debate, so "whatever." And that's all I have to say on it. On to the boring weather.....

If the banter thread should be for anything, why have any threads at all besides a banter one? Why do we have storm threat threads, regular disco threads, etc?
