snowdazed
I'm starting to think these models want me to suffer. Round one, more snow fell to my west. Round two, more falling to the east.

SouthCoastMA
Man, shift that 3K run about 25 miles west.. Nevertheless, as is, croaks extreme eastern MA. Edit..by Hour 26 it gets the CCB further inland.
Baroclinic Zone
PW stuck at 24hr. I was looking to see what the Q{F from the model was from 00z Dec 3rd till the storm departs.

The precip shields extends further back due to the strength of the storm..but the 3k seems over zealous in that department.

SouthCoastMA
I guess you are right. The qpf was higher on 6z..yet the CCB was further west on the 12z, so not sure..maybe there was a better deform band on the 6z. But yes, probably a waste of time sweating NAM details

Did you subtract out the QPF from 6z-12z this morning? Toss the QPF. 12z was more wound up and threw the band back more to the west.
