Will, what would you compare this storm too?

The three I was looking at were early December 2003 two day storm, December 2005 and last year's November 15th storm.  Milder than December 2003, colder than December 2005......

Its pretty damn cold this morning Boston had 33 34 33 highs lows 22 25 22 in 03

Yeah, I never bought a statewide dry slot lol. A New London County sized one? Sure :P

The panic was palpable. Thankfully we back away from walking into Long Island Sound this morning even as our watches get replaced with warning level advisories

Some folks did yesterday. Was baffling . You know generally how these play out when lows slide underneath.

Information overload. I’m guilty of it too. Then we latch onto either the good or bad solutions at face value regardless of who or what presented it.

Some of those outputs are way overdone i feel on some of the models, Especially the RGEM, That would end up being historic for this time of year if some of those forcasted totals for snow verified.

Well in theroy, The ULL would be further west as well, But i don't know if you want that either as it gets tugged back over head and i think taint would become a problem there and east of there but you would get a congrats PF out of it.

I know I was vague but I was envisioning (meant ) the capture being S/SSE of block island by a good 125  miles instead of 150 miles east of ACK

I don't think I have ever seen a storm where both NYC and Boston gets pummeled while CT is relatively untouched.

Fascinating

The thing I'm a little baffled at is they have northern Fairfield and Litchfield county under the Winter Storm Warning, but, left Hartford and Tolland counties a Winter Weather Advisory? With what I'm seeing..we should be anywhere between 8-12"?
