The orientation of the line may allow it to train for more than 10 min for the Newark area, SI, Brooklyn and points south - could see 1-2" in a narrow corridor somewhere in there.

Either way, 10 min of whiteout conditions is enough to put roads and the local airports at a stand still.

This is only putting down a quarter to a half inch at the most.

Yes, most of it will. I'm talking about the portion of the squall circled here. There will be a longer duration of snow in a narrow corridor due to orientation of the line and cell motion being similar.

Wantage NJ 8 s High Point late report. Late report: 0.3" in a whiteout squall ~234PM with max gust 28MPH. Downtown Sussex NJ had about 0.2" ~ a couple of minutes later. Ice laden trees, grass etc continues though pavement wet (snow-covered in spots). Max T today Was 31.3. Yesterday it was 32.5 ~ 930PM.
