We just had a hell of a band (dropped an inch so some redemption) and that is now over toward where I-88 and I-90 merge. The webcam still looks like rain there despite those rates. Looks like the valley can't do it today. Though VV's etc. might be different later over your way.

...RAIN WILL END AS WET SNOW ACROSS THE HIGH TERRAIN OF
BERKSHIRES, WORCESTER HILLS AND POSSIBLY THE NORTHEAST
CONNECTICUT HILLS THIS EVENING...

Rain will be changing to a period of wet snow across the east
slopes of the Berkshires, Worcester Hills and possibly the hills
in northeast Connecticut before ending between 7 and 9 pm this
evening. Snow accumulations of a coating to 2 inches will be
possible with the greatest risk for the higher amounts at
elevations near and above 1500 feet.

The wet snow may result in roads becoming snow covered and
slippery for a time early this evening. Motorists should be
prepared for slippery travel, especially above 1000 feet in
elevation.

Much better timing for you diurnally speaking than here trying to flip it at noon.

I’m cautiously optimistic, but don’t want to set up for disappointment which I’m going to experience with Dallas shortly
