John1122
Moderate to heavy snow now, but its booking out of here. Hopefully we can get some rotation back this way. Not sure that we have much more than 30 minutes or so left though. Ground, decks, cars etc covered.
Reb
Ripping huge flakes here now. Still mixed with rain.
John1122
The burst of sleet here laid down a coating of ice that actually aided in sticking of everything. The sleet pellets were oddly large. Guess it was the big flakes melting and refreezing.
Jed33
Getting some sleet mixing in with the rain here now. Temp is 36.
BlunderStorm
Currently in a dry slot in southwest Virginia just as the temps flipped to favorable conditions for snow. (Currently Flurrying) 33F as of now. As per the radar though it looks like things are reloading for a good couple hours of solid snow.
Jed33
Switched over to mostly light snow now. Temp 34.

Save the itchy algae!
It's coming down here pretty hard, though it must've just started not too long ago because the road/sidewalks are just wet and the ground barely white. At the rate its falling coupled with the wind I would expect blowing snow before long. The wind is howling.
bearman
Coming down good in West Knoxville around the Cedar Bluff area. Ground is white about half inch on roofs.
Runman292
MRX issued a special weather statement for the valley counties not in the advisory.
fountainguy97
Just waiting on the surface temps here. Radar and soundings show just the shallow warm nose left here. temp dropping pretty quickly down to 41 now!

1234snow
Flakes are very fine right now and not big flakes.
John1122
Back edge is moving over me now. The snow band is expanding, cold air seems to be passing through the moisture faster or maybe it's being enhanced more, but I'll bet Knox-East and NE exceed WWA criteria. TellicoWx
Rain/snow mix here 36, temp falling fast but not sure it will make it low enough to stick before the back edge gets here.

bearman
It is already late for some locations. We are very close to an inch in west Knox but only on grassy and elevated surfaces.

TellicoWx
Looking at temp data, looks like the <32° wet bulb line made it to Rockwood thru Greenback line in the valley
