nwohweather
Thank God my flight out is this morning and not tomorrow. Non stop to Vegas would be quite bumpy with those kinds of winds
CheeselandSkies
Is no one going to use my thread? Seems to me this system and the one on its heels deserve their own. 1

Jim Martin
High Wind Warnings for all of Northwest Ohio for Wednesday. Expecting wind gusts 60 plus MPH at times.
Chinook
This could be one of those situations where some 45mph steady wind speeds over Lake Erie funnel the air and water toward Buffalo, with a seiche (high water) and wind gusts over 65mph at Buffalo.

hawkeye_wx
Much of tonight's shower and storm activity danced around Cedar Rapids. I had a few rumbles, but I could not have gotten any less rain... pretty disappointing.
cyclone77
Picked up 0.72" overnight. Probably stormed pretty good but I had fallen asleep lol. Temp hit 53 shortly after midnight, with lower 50 dews as well. Back down to 39 now with 50mph gusts already. Looks like a pocket of snow showers should rotate through here in the next hour or two. Highest window for winds here looks like between about 8am and noon. That's when we should have our best shot at 60+.
Spartman
This Thanksgiving's one for the suicide booths. Overcast and highs in the upper 30s the entire day, wish the rain from the upcoming system came earlier than tomorrow evening. Going to be a long crappy Thanksgiving weekend. michsnowfreak
The 1st 20 days of November where the coldest and snowiest on record for Detroit. The month looks to end typically Novembery, with overcast skies, but no snow remains. With temperatures getting milder the last 3rd of the month, it will be interesting to see where the month places on the coldest list.

Different setup but reminds me of that March 12 2006 storm that produced some tornadoes in northern Missouri (I think that's where they were) with similar temps. Pretty neat. I think one of the IN or KY offices actually did some research on tornadoes that have occurred in their area with temps in the 40s. It's a small number of course and they are going to tend to be on the weaker side for obvious reasons.
Hoosier
I guess it was NWS Louisville. March 12, 1986. They went on to list a handful of other tornadoes that occurred with temps of 50-55 degrees The "coldest" tornadoes occurred on March 12, 1986, when three F1 tornadoes were observed while temperatures were in the middle 40s. There was also widespread wind damage and large hail. Low pressure was centered over southeast Kansas with a warm front reaching due east, along the Kentucky/Tennessee border. The tornadoes touched down just north of the front in Kentucky.

The only snowier Novembers are 1966 (11.8"), 1933 (10.6") and 1932 (10.1").

YYZ's top 3 snowiest Novembers are 1940 (24.0"), 1950 (19.7") and 2003 (10.7").
