Toronto is most likely going to go 8 days, maybe 9 days with over 1cm on the ground reported at the airport in a row. Even more odd, all four systems were all snow from the start. This early in the season, if we get any snow at all, we often start with rain and then change to snow. As of yesterday's climo report, we are running a remarkable -12.7F departure for the month. On Tuesday, our high of 19F shattered the record for lowest high temperature for the date by 4F. Also on Tuesday, we tied the record low for the date of 9F producing a -27 departure for the day. The previous record, 1976, was 1.2ﾟ warmer. Also the 9.5" was the snowiest 1st half of November on record as well. Our week long Winter wonderland is also a record, and even though the ground is starting to suck up the snow, I notice that while the depth on the grass is around 3", elevated surfaces still have closer to 6". 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
