Yup..writing is on the wall.  Sun was poking through here before it got dark, so that tells me this WWA is a joke.

Thankfully this wasn't in the middle of winter when we were expecting 6-12 inches of snow with an offshore coastal...only to fade away to dustings and stray flakes...

I thought the opposite. The airmass is garbage too. I would think highest spots in berks have a chance.

Yeah I’m with you.  Even if it flips over it’s still pretty warm in the boundary layer.  Not uncommon for those ULL type precip batches to flash colder but still, maybe someone gets a wet coating?

I can’t even figure out how much it precipitates up here.

18z NAM has 0.02” at MVL.

18z GFS has 0.71” at MVL.

Thats pretty big on a 36 hour forecast.  One is a non-event, the other is a 1/3rd of inch of ice followed by 3” snow...decent impact.

Can someone explain to me what this paragraph from our AFD means? Never seen bacon in the forecast! :o

High pressure is able to build in for Wednesday and Thursday as to
our west a closed low develops over the four corners as 500 heights
climb ever higher into the Bacon

I honestly have no idea what the intention was there.

It has been so ridiculously cold, it's hard to really comprehend.

BTV's average max/min for today is 45/31.  The record high temp is 70F.  This morning set a record low of 7F.  A 130+ year period of record.

BTV is -7.4 on the month so far.  This is incredible given they usually have a +2 baseline.
