downeastnc
Wonder how much impact we will see inland on this outside of rainfall.....I think tornados would be biggest threat.... I don't think there will be much in the way of wind inland, the Sun plot is directly over my house as a 50 mph storm though I doubt anyone away from the beaches see's anything over say 30-35 in gust.... Hey downeast, long time no post. Hope all is well. Outside of thunderstorms it may get breezy but that would be it. Hopefully we will get a rain out of it. TWC has us at 90% Saturday night and 80% Sunday with 1 to 2 inches possible. Lets hope.
mackerel_sky
NW trend, or this thing is useless for drought relief! No real chance of flooding, due to forwarding speed! Maybe Tuesday front will bring the goods?
NC_hailstorm
12z Euro looks like the 3km NAM with better rain further NW.GFS and Ukie have that sharp cuttoff around I-85.

downeastnc
Trend is east so far, the Ukie had a interesting run that took the center over the the FL/GA east coast then just onshore up to the OBX..... 12Z 00Z
superjames1992
This storm is looking to ruin my trip to Scarowinds Saturday night. In other news, my old stomping lands of Tallahassee, FL look to get yet another tropical system (granges, this one is weak).
gman
I'm looking at the satellite on the Hurricane Tracker app. The storm looks like its moving more east than northeast. Any chance it goes across the middle of Florida and entirely misses Georgia and the Carolinas?

NC_hailstorm
Just looking at the early 0z HRRR,someone is going to get clocked in the Upstate/W.Piedmont/or in Central NC if it's right.Wherever that heavy rain band sets up I see a couple 3''-4'' lollipops in there. LithiaWx
Georgia game was basically played in a cold tropical storm. What a nasty game.
gman
Got 1.40". Maybe another inch tomorrow night and several inches next weekend. Starting out to be a wet fall. What a turnaround from 3 weeks ago.
