eire015
The wind is back! I am hearing things crashing in the yard but I am not sure what it is. This is the most intense sustained wind I have experienced here since Irene!
FlashFreeze
wind has become very strong in the last 20 minutes, consistently over 40 mph, I believe the gusts may be higher as my anemometer was inexpensive and has always seemed to be 8 to 10 mph low, elevation here is 1150 feet

OceanStWx
48 knots at PWM. Considering this is an independent data point from my study, I'm really happy with the output of 47.6 knots. Even if PWM goes in a little higher over the next hour.

I hope you find other good things to report from the analysis you did. ORH managed a 44 mph gust. Let's see what todau brings. Even with the dryslot, we had 3.21" of rain so far. . TauntonBlizzard2013
I’m going to guess the winds never materialized here based on the fact that the mums on the front steps didn’t move an inch... looks like we got nearly 2.5” of rain though
OceanStWx
62 mph at PWM Ripping on the edge of the dry slot
OceanStWx
The edge of the precip is nearly stationary around PWM, so that's kept the gusts going for a couple hours now. Even the WFO managed a 44 knot peak gust.

SJonesWX
was decent here in Lexington, not sure what the gusts were, but the roads are a mess. the roads are completely covered with leaves, pine needles, acorns, and small branches. and by covered, I mean they are covered. a few larger branches down around the 'hood, but haven't seen any trees down
HoarfrostHubb
I slept through most of it but enough trees and power lines down in the area to close my daughter’s and wife’s regional districts.

LSC97wxnut
Went out just after 5:00 in Newtonville, weirdly not windy at all at that time. Only leaves and small twigs on the ground. Breeze is picking back up a little bit at the moment though.
