WinterWolf
Ya raining decently here..with some heavier echos incoming. Figured it’d(the precip) have a lot harder time reaching here than this....??

TalcottWx
Rather hefty statement by BOX Plan accordingly. Especially coastline communities, there could be a number of days without power given anticipated winds in addition to coastal flooding. Those with coastal interest should address any and all vulnerabilities, protecting life and property in the process.

Very true. But the radar is becoming more robust as time passes this morning, I don’t think most of us saw that happening today, at least not over this area? Tomorrow could over perform as this is doing today? Or Not? Lol. Still a lot of questions on how this all comes together later today and tomorrow it seems? Perhaps a few surprises are in store? CoastalWx
Water vapor is telling. You can see how the incoming s/w from NJ is helping getting the lift going over srn CT into RI. North of that, it will take more until tonight before the low well SE gets captured and the moisture train starts moving W to WNW.

And you’re substantially west of my area, and south. I don’t think any of us were expecting the rain to be punching so far west as it is this morning. As Scott just mentioned that S/W from NJ is juicing our precipitation.

TalcottWx
Such a wide spread. But I can certainly see a scenario where BOS ends up with a pedestrian 1.0-1.5" of rain while Plymouth gets like 3.50"

Torch Tiger
As we all have been thinking, this looks to be barely a storm for 90% of NE. A few periods of rain showers and a light wind, and that's all. Final.

CoastalWx
You'll probably see this blossom a bit N and E with time, while the SW CT stuff sort of weakens in the aftn.
