I'm in northern Onondaga County, north of Baldwinsville by a few minutes. Right now we are renting, but patiently looking for a home around where we are currently at, over to the Phoenix area, and to the south side of Fulton. I like this location, as I work in "downtown" Baldwinsville. It's a quick commute, closer to good Lake effect opportunities, and rural...but yet still close enough to all the big box stores in Clay and Destiny USA. Plus, I find Bville to be a very cute village. The hardest part for me is adjusting to the Upstate NY attitude. I find New Yorkers, in general, to be cold and not very friendly. Sort of aloof and in own little worlds. I am a very personable individual...so I struggle with that a bit.
