lakeeffectkid383
Finished with 11.1” here. 9.8” on the ground. Exceeded forecast of 6-10”. The top few inches is very fluffy and the bottom is mashed potatoes. Actually averaged very close to 10:1 with 1.08” of liquid.
Thinksnow18
Just finished the driveway and the neighbors house also 11.1" in Williamsville but a little less on grass about 8" 1/2". Nice start to the season!!!
Buckeyes_Suck
Pretty heavy stuff, too much for my tractor with plow. Had to get out the snowblower.
wolfie09
What a bust and not the good kind either.. Was more disappointed with overnight, 1" new, 4.5" storm total..
vortmax
We ended up with probably 8 or 9, with 3 to 7 LE in the points for tonight. Wondering if that will pan out.
tim123
Looks like roc will get over a foot when all said and done
WNash
9.5” in NE Buffalo (with compaction). Definitely the best early season storm in the northern part of the city at least since I moved here in 2012. I haven’t had a chance to look at KBUF’s records, is this the biggest pre-Nov 15th storm since the October Surprise?

wolfie09
Heavier snow with this little band than I saw all night lol Probably due to it's fluffy nature..
96blizz
The new 3KM shows one heck of a lake effect band. That could drop 3-5” easily if it parks for any duration!

Buffalo Bumble
11" here. Biggest early season synoptic storm that I can remember in a very long time. Will this be BUF's largest synoptic event of the season? Time will tell, but it's a nice early season bar to set.

wolfie09
If it's a single band on a NW Flow it tends to go south of Oswego county from past experiences..
wolfie09
If it's more of a multi band set up then it's anyone's guess..

CNY_WX
I measured 3.2 inches of snow and 0.49 inch of liquid which shows how much mixing occurred. It’s been snowing steadily for the last 2 hours with good flake size.

Here's to hoping we get another 2 or 3 big synoptic events and one blockbuster LES event around Christmas

The 3KM NAM is dead to me. I blame it in whole for last night's bustogenesis. 3.5" storm total as of 8 a.m.

rochesterdave
Areas from SE Roc to Syracuse really busted pretty hard. There were signs but the hi res models consistently underestimated the NW push of warm air at the mid/upper levels. Lower levels stayed plenty cold (at least around here). 8” compact snow in Irondequoit. The lake added the last 2”. About what I hoped for but it was too stressful riding that taint line. Forgot about how much I hate sleet (or technically rim). On to the next. Overnight looks like a Penfield/ Walworth special. Good luck Tim!
rochesterdave
Here ya go Tim. Do the math on this one. Figure 25:1. Someone in Wayne, NE burbs is gonna get a fluffy few. I’ll bet Walworth didn’t do to well with the synoptic. (Few crusty inches?)
