BuffaloWeather
Boston suburbs are going to get smoked with that Euro run. The system stalls out and intensifies. 20"+ totals. Also potential for those totals around Albany.

Last run showed 0. Now I am getting close to half a foot of snow . Overall trends forward the ICON. Look at the GGEM for example. Minimizes the primary. Euro the opposite. Nice enhancement and big trends forward ICON!! Don’t count us out yet. HAPPY TRACKING to all! Icon snowfall on bottom.
wolfie09
Euro is little bit colder as well, kuchera actually shows a positive gain unlike the gfs.. Wouldn't take much of a shift to get the bigger snows in here but I'd be extremely happy if this verified lol

The secondary spits bands my way same way the ICON does. I’m watching trends carefully. See if we can get some frontogensis this way

Tim, I think it’s reading heavy sleet off the initial push as snow (common model error). I hope I’m wrong. Once the secondary gets cranking, WNY will be out of the game. We’d need a big deformation holding back west or a better chance is if that initial slug is considerably cooler than currently progged. I know I sound like a downer. Your enthusiasm keeps us balanced. I’ll be in Chicago but hoping for Roc!!

Haven’t been there since a Grateful Dead run in the early 90’s. This trip is a business convention. I expect to be taken to a few nice restaurants. CNY-LES FREAK
Did anyone else wake up to a 1/2" dusting this AM cause I did. Car is still covered this late in the day so not much melting, nonetheless it hasn't gotten above freezing and pavement is wet.Sent from my SM-G970U using Tapatalk

When I lived in West Michigan, I was only 2.5 hours from there. I LOVED the Museum of Science and Industry. Fantastic! Lincoln Park Zoo (much of it free to the public)...and of course, Chicago Deepdish pizza.... Giordano's or Lou Malnatis.

CNY-LES FREAK
That event was nothing like this one, not in the least. It was an open wave, pretty much a miller B that bombed out once it reformed! no comparison
