WEATHER53
Max gust here to 44 and 1.5” rain so far. Dynamic front, 14 degree drop in 45 minutes. It was 77 when my grandson went out, I don’t remember a warmer one. Glad the kids got their time in before what was an impressive very late October squall line but probably overhyped tornado talk

Stormfly
50.1 MPH peak wind at 22:31. Nice strong S wind before line moved through. Wreaks havoc with inflatable decorations and leaves, oh my! Few flashes of lightning and some thunder. Very high rainfall rates. Today's total was 2.21" and nearly 2" of that was with the line! Power blinked a few times and saw some flashes on security cameras. Typical for winds like this. Temp definitely dropping nice. It was quite balmy after dinner. Now the wind chill box is showing up on the station reports. Bring on the snow!
Jebman
It has gotten very cold here in Buda, VERY COLD especially when you consider our normal high is 75, normal low is 55. Yesterday the high was only 46!!!! That was 30 degrees below normal! The winds were brutal out of the north at 43mph at times. Today it was 56 degrees with dewpoints only in the low 20s. Tonight we expect lows in the mid 20s! This is VERY early for us, as every polar front is just barreling down into Texas!
