dendrite
Lots of NH towns are pushing it back to Saturday night too. Watch us get a solid break in the rain Thu night now with dews in the 60s.
mreaves
How does a town "postpone" Halloween? Does it mean no official events or are they arresting kids who go trick or treating on the 31st? Raiding homes who give out candy on the non-official night?

Models look like we might get a break in the rain around go time anyway, wouldn't be too bad going out with temps in the upper 60's to near 70....on a separate topic-I would think in this day and age of over the top "safety" and "protecting our kids from danger" they would have moved it to the last Sat or Sun of the month as a regular thing-less people rushing home from work, driving fast, kids out on a school night etc....but that's never happened. That seems to be showing up more and more but I don't know if most people actually want that. I love when it is on a weekend, but whatevs. My area looks to be pretty wet this evening. So far our town is still proceeding with it happening. Too bad the wind wasn't earlier that would be fun (unless a branch falls on someone)

The winds won't be bad. According to the graphic above, just strong enough to tip over a garbage can. Now it doesn't specify if that's an empty or full garbage can, but I would guess that it takes 35 mph winds to tip over a garbage can.

That was more sarcasm, This has trended into NBD and should have been left alone.
