Pilot reported issues gaining speed/altitude on take off. Crashed into building/hanger/structure at the airport. Multiple injuries reported. Rescue operations underway. Fire has extended to the structure it hit.

EDIT: Conflicting reports.... FAA said it was landing. So not sure.

Holy fuk

Looks like it was only in the air for 5 mins. Took off and then circled right back and crashed.

RIP to the crew if they didn't make it. I think these are usually resotored and flown mostly by volunteers.

We ran ours one day last week due to the dews.  If I was home today I would have em on...

Uninstalling this weekend

Its just become muggy here, quick shot, have ceiling fans on, not too bad. No shirt, no shoes, no problem day, the last. All ready for cooler temps now. Always tricky turning on the propane and checking for leaks, don't want to end up like Farmington peeps.

More OT news.  Bernie Sanders is in the hospital after chest pains yesterday.  Had to put 2 stents in artery.  He should be ok

60F sprinkles but blue breaks to north.  About .15" last night.  High was 65.7F at 530am

I heart Bernie! In other news, something wonky with the irrigation system at my apartment complex. The zone which waters the area around my building has been on for over 24 hrs. It's turning into a flood. I told management yesterday. The sprinklers are still going strong. Also, the sprinkler head right near the walk way to my door has popped off so it is a mini geyser. There is no way for me to go in and out with out getting wet. I literally have to time the sprinklers and make a mad dash for dry land. I haven't successfully stayed dry yet. I have no idea how large scale irrigation works, but im assuming there is a shut off somewhere?

Yes there is a shut off. Inside and out. Put on your swimsuit and run through the sprinklers like a kid. Why not? Pics please
