Lost my favorite full-screen weather map... again...

So after wunderground's full-screen weather map went to absolute garbage several years ago, I found this site: http://weather.wdtinc.com/imap/imaplite/?MAPID=10937&CLIENTID=20485

While not a perfect replacement, it got the job done. Intuitive controls, handy mapping features, fast and stable. But now it's down as well, and I find myself without a decent alternative. I've got the NWS's full screen mosaic but there's no zoom and it's pretty unwieldy. I won't even discuss the dumpster fires that are TWC/wunderground's current map versions. They just don't work. And I'm not a real fan of Accuweather either as the way they present their radar returns seems way overblown, not to mention that the website controls are less than perfect. In fact, it seems I can't get anything from Mapbox to work properly, in both firefox and chrome...

So what's everyone using these days? When I get into storm mode, I like to have up some local Doppler, some satellite imagery, a page for lightning, and a modern, full-screen weather page. I feel like I'm blind without it now, as the Doppler and satellite only get you so far. Thanks in advance.

You are not alone! I have pretty much the same problems here. One site I like for  sat imagery is the GOES pages.  https://www.star.nesdis.noaa.gov/GOES/conus.php?sat=G16

Also for radar "big pic" I use the NWS large composite full res loop.  https://radar.weather.gov/Conus/full.php (edit..HAHA just saw thats the one u linked! sorry)

For in close radar with lightning and a host of other goodies.....I go to the phone and Radar Scope pro (paid) its worth it. Surprised there are not some better "working" weather pages out there!

I'm actually wiling to pursue looking into a subscription type deal or maybe some kind of stand-alone software since I can't seem to be able to get it for free anymore (lol). Might anyone have any recommendations?

I love the wdtinc map as well (these are the same guys that make Radar Scope Pro), lost it too, but I found a currently working link for it now:

This one is pretty cool too, lots of background maps to chose from (the solid black is my favorite), several layer options including IR and VIS satellite loops, point and click NWS forcast as well and it can also go to full screen:

WU went downhill fast after IBM bought TWC... Actually in one fatal swoop, never has recovered to what it was.  I remember the option for the radar gave you 5 tilts to choose from and the models displays were better then (and worked)... but that is in the past now...

you can tweek the zoom= VALUE (1-18) 1=global 18=top of building close 4=Country

Here we go again. :/ http://content.wdtinc.com/imap/imaplite/ is 404 again, probably for good this time as the host domain has a Redhat test page up. Sorry I didn't see this until a year later! I've known about the PSU E-wall for quite some time, but I miss the interactive nature of the old WU map, in which you could zoom in and pan around just like Google maps. I've been using https://www.windy.com/-Weather-radar-radar?radar,39.950,-75.784,8 lately, and while it has a lot of functionality, the radar imagery is not very well defined and you can't overlay weather warning boxes on top, for instance.
