GSP saying a dusting to an inch around Asheville, doesn't seem right with what all the models are showing.  I would have thought around 3 inches maybe 4 at least.

They are giving time to look at todays runs. They are always super conservative anyway.

Yep guess your right, because it does look like it snows here the whole event with no rain or sleet.

Yeah they will be tweaking the forecast which they already have for my area but im thinking they will wait until 6 or 12 to put out some kind of advisory or watch.

Hi - can you answer a question please?  I read that temperatures are running around 3 degrees colder In the Midwest than what nam/gfs is showing.  Is there any truth to that and does it affect us at all?  I should know better than to post right before a model run; I think my question got lost in the main event topic.   But since I am in Haywood maybe better to post in here anyways?

I feel the call of a Catalooche daytrip from Chattanooga! @Maggie Ace will they run the shuttle bus from Maggie Valley parking even if the upper lot is not full? I ask because I don't want to drive that road up. Thank you.

Separately I guess I should take I-40 around. Figure the pass from Cherokee will be a little crazy. Maybe come up tonight, but need some other things to be canceled locally first.

Weekdays are short lift lines and cheaper lift tix. Oh yeah! :ski:
