AirNelson39
Yesterday was by far the best snow event of the season in Boone, that’s not saying much because even though it snowed all day I’d say we had about an inch. At least it got cold enough after dark to stick to the roads some. Only the second time this winter my parking lot has been white. Unreal.
FlatLander48
I'll take this. Hrrr ticking up precip every run. Uhm... whoa when did that happen lolSent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk
FlatLander48
Not that it matters. but at 4z on the new HRRR vs last run, precip is held just a touch better, might help the NW counties. Just noise honestly, but everything helps.

AirNelson39
Not too impressed with the radar returns for the NW Mtns. I’d rather be in Caldwell, Burke, Catawba based on current direction of moisture.
Buckethead
The moisture has reached me, 21° and light snow currently.

I think it will be easier to accumulate this time as it was 21 this morning.
franklin NCwx
Moderate snow with 2 inches. Looks like the best rates will stay to the south in north GA.

Just got back home there are cars out of the road everywhere. I think we might make a run at 4 inches. Best rates just stoped right at the state line.

FlatLander48
HRRR is stubborn on trying to give us NW folks the best totals it looks like, but idk if I can believe it.
Blue_Ridge_Escarpment
Nice little burst here right now. Definitely not the huge wet flakes we saw last Friday. More fine flakes.

FlatLander48
looks like the northern shield is getting a bit more robust. Hoping the line to the west can stay intact, that's where the heavier rates are.
