It's been a torrential downpour in my area since 2-3 a.m. There hasn't been a single moment where I'd say the rain has been "light" since that point. Seems about right. Somebody stole a snow shield and put it up in Boone evidently. Never in my life have I been so disappointed with a season. At least living down in GA I knew not to expect anything. Phelps
Sucks for the ski resorts. They had such good conditions last weekend. They can deal with warm but 5 inches of rain is tough.

There may not be any snow left at all after today's torrents. Dry falls on the Cullasaja River was rip-rouring, though:

Buckethead
I had picked up 5.60" since since midnight last night at 2pm. Won't be able to measure any more though since a tree on the hill next to my house just fell and took out my rain gauge. My mountain is dissolving.
Hvward
3km is amped again for the NWF tomorrow. Almost like a comma head develops on the backside as the low bombs out on the Delmarva. Then that secondary shortwave looks to be juicy.. 3

It would be nice if it's sniffing out another one like it did last week.
