wxdude64
Least the clouds are holding us right around 80 here, just south and east (Roanoke, Lynchburg and C'ville) already pushing 90 this afternoon! Pass! Hang on clouds lol.
WxUSAF
Not surprising, but the GFS and GGEM are tempering the post-frontal cold next weekend. Still looks like by far the coolest airmass of the season, but more 40s then upper 30s. Both have another storm around D10 which brings another cooler airmass the following week. wxdude64
Played the split game here in last hour. Line of showers rolled thru, on cameras roads wet 4 miles east and west of me. Here? Well, I counted about 10-20 drops on the deck. Did have some nice (27 mph) gusts to blow the leaves around though.

frd
Two rain drops here, down the road 1 mile a legit shower, looking at the radar never fails, the same line moving East through Salem County NJ. is getting stronger and "wetter " Always seems to happen like that. Yet we also know he looks at the guidance regularly. Also, 15-20 degrees above normal next week? like all of next week? I didn't read it but hard to believe that's what it said. Not sure what he was doing there.

PhineasC
Kinda amazing it rained nonstop for months and then it didn't rain at all for months. I am not a global warming nut, but is this normal? It seems to be the pattern now. We get soaked then we get nothing.

Pretty big change to how the GFS depicted the front next week. Rides a strong wave along it Thursday-Friday to give us a healthy rain. GGEM didnt change. I’m not biting on that yet. CAPE
0z GFS develops a low along the front Thurs-Fri and gives the area some rain. CMC has initial energy to the north, then has some weaker activity the front to our south next weekend. We get nada. I favor that sort of solution lol. MN Transplant
Still sitting at 0.11" at DCA, which would tie the driest September on record if we hold through tomorrow.
