powderfreak
We should get at least to the mid-60s today before the rain arrives.

dendrite
We may fall short of 90 Sat, but it’s a torch nonetheless. It’ll be a cooler start for the rad sites, but should be a quick turnaround. May have to get later into the afternoon to reach the max temps. Some will be wondering where their 80s are at noon. Typhoon Tip
I don't think 18C is enough post Equinox solar input ... but, whatever... That should be the last of it - there's been an persistent theme among the models/blends therein for a pretty comprehensive 'thickness reset" timed shortly there after ...this going back days of guidance actually. Still appears to be the case looking over the usual suspects this morning. The pattern structure may not even change so much as once that happens, it's late and the return flows have lost the elevated thermal layout - oscillitory pattern is what we get out of those 10 days of heat hysteria in the runs. I love it. In the meantime, can you imagine if that ever situated on the Benchmark ?
weatherwiz
I'm thinking 86-88 at BDL Saturday. Though it seems like there is an inversion just below 5,000' which prevents deeper mixing. If that feature is overdone or can be overcome then BDL will hit 90.

dendrite
Only 3 October soundings for CHH have had H85 temps over 18C. 2007 popped quite a few 20C soundings this time of year.
ORH_wxman
Late next week is gonna suck.....not looking forward to 50s for highs. Would prob be 40s if the OP Euro verifies....hopefully everything get muted as we get closer.

Savoy still had lots of leathery faded green on Monday with only patches of orange and yellows. Greenfield is also very patchwork with some really bright trees but a lot of muted, fading colors. A lot of early leaf shedding also.

I’m just glad it’s not that late Sept 2017 pattern with constant deep southerly flow and nites in mid 60’s inland . Albany had like 4 straight record highs , 3 above 90 late Sept 2017 This is a very dry pattern and dews are pretty nice away from South coast but ya ...you want 80 in Early October...become a snow bird
