The lack of rain has really slowed down my lawn thankfully.   ORH at -0.36" for the month   That will increase...no real rain in sight for now. Maybe showers Monday/monday night     I am loving this

lack of rain killed our lawn. No wait, our lawn just dies on its own, rain or no rain:lol:

GFS now has Monday as quiet the gradient day with FROPA draped across CNE.  Just full on pre-frontal torch across SE half of New England.  The timing of that should have huge implications in the max temp forecasts.

We all bake on Sunday for sure though.

Euro is definitely slower. My guess is we all summer for Sunday and Monday. Warm again later in the week, but we likely will be backdoored it seems. Overall the theme is mild-warm and also dry.  Tuesday looks rather chilly and raw for the mtns.

This is embarrassing in my view, Ocean is almost flat in Plymouth and waves in Marshfield aren't much to speak of.

LOCATIONS...Eastern Plymouth MA and Eastern Essex MA.

* TIMING...Until 6 PM EDT this evening.

* SURF ZONE IMPACTS...Up to 7 foot breaking waves will be
  dangerous to anyone who enters the surf.

Glad we dont live there. What a fantastic day for the old guy.

A friend who lives in Burlington was visiting the shore and posted these photos from today at Ogunquit Beach... he said he was taking shots of his girlfriend and her father out on the ocean when the shark fin appeared.  (photo credit Matt Testa).

If the EPS is right we shatter records...

tough call - the Euro operational has been flip-flopping between a look more like the EPS's last steadfast three cycle inferno vs more what has been taking place all summer with that abutting shunt from the NE, which isn't therefore easily dismissible

BDL with a 43-degree diurnal range today.  That's pretty impressive.

38F to 81F.... that's true Chamber of Commerce weather right there.

Gotta love the wide ranges this time of year though.  My favorite has been watching the evening temp drop when the shadows creep in as the sun goes behind the mountains.

This evening we lost 12 degrees in 1 hour, from 71F to 59F with the sunset.
