In fact, they look like the kind of flat, puffy clouds you usually see after a cold front passage. I was thinking exactly this on my drive home. Nothing like the last several days when there were towers all over the place.

I mean, I was expecting a complete zero today of all the days this week. <Shrugs shoulders>.
dailylurker
Radar looks pretty lame except for right over my house. Today was my lucky day. Classic summer thunderstorm with gusty winds, ground shaking thunder and sheets of rain. Still raining along with nearby lightning. Once it's done I'll go check the rain bucket and see what I got.
GramaxRefugee
Pretty strong rain here, start about 6:45p. T&L, but not too severe. Power just went. Edit. Power back. Post was lost temporarily. Davis has over 0.30 so far. Starting to taper out.

Steve25
Love the temperature look on the models next few weeks. Don't see any prolonged HOT stretches. A few days in the 80's next week, but otherwise hanging around 80. I wouldn't mind some solid rain chances, but if it wants to stay dry through November and then bring the precipitation, I wouldn't be mad lol. Just can't wait to get rid of these mid 70's low temperatures! Nasty!

River levels are low which can be good for fishing as it holes the fish up. Hoping to hit up the Monocacy this weekend. Also...DCA and BWI notch another 90°. CAPE
The rain potential for our area with this front as trended to complete lameness. Most models have my yard getting zero to maybe a quarter inch. I will take the under. Oh well, bring on the refreshing air. I will pretend I am in a high desert area for the weekend. showmethesnow
Decent little storm here. Not much lightning but gusts 40 maybe 50 mph for a time. Fairly heavy rainfall guessing maybe an inch or so. eta: And to top it off we had a double rainbow.

dailylurker
The line out in northern VA has lit up with warnings. I like the trend on radar. It would be cool to get a nice night time storm. Sounds like a jungle out there this evening.
