bluewave
This summer is another example of dewpoints on the rise. Another 75+ dewpoint day around the area. https://mesonet.agron.iastate.edu/plotting/auto/?_wait=no&q=76&network=NJ_ASOS&station=ACY&season=summer&varname=dwpf&year=1893&hours=0-23&dpi=100&_fmt=png

Drz1111
This sounding is tasty. We're going to convect early. Also, continue to think SPC is understating shear around here.
Santa Claus
Storms popping already and a strong line in New England. This is the most active summer I can ever remember. Just relentless.

winterwx21
12z NAM and RGEM are advertising a much more widespread round of heavy storms tomorrow during the evening compared to today, even though today is advertised as the bigger severe weather day. Do you guys buy that? This is quite a change.

Just seems the meso's have really had a problem this summer with the numerous convection threats we've had...rarely agreeing on timing, coverage....and more often than not, underestimating coverage. NycStormChaser
Once this storm enters a more favorable environment in Connecticut it should really blow up. Probably will go severe warned soon.

Drz1111
One thing I do notice that's a negative is that the LL winds aren't as backed as forecast.

Cfa
Severe Thunderstorm Watch just came through my weather radio. I’m almost certain it’s set to KWO35, as it’s been dead silent for years until this summer. I’m not sure if WXM80 reaches here.

LIWeatherGuy29
The rain's going to come real close for my area. A very slight shift north and misses me completely. The last soaking rain here was 2 weeks ago. Had only .17 of an inch of rain a few days ago.
