Just had my oldest dog pass peacefully in my arms this morning so a bit of a sad, sunny Saturday. Dude, so sorry. Losing a family member is brutal. He/she was lucky to have you. Sucks that we outlive our pets.

Just happy we did not have to do that long final drive to the vet this morning. Thank you for rescuing her.

CapturedNature
69° at 2PM in August under clear skies isn't too bad for a summer day. lol at BDL at 75°. Majority of stations are around 70°
powderfreak
64F at 2pm in August at MVL. Decent mild down. It’s true jacket weather at the mountain with low-60s in the base. Checked out the Tolland Stem Mutual Aid at 70F with a high of 72F...so not a ton warmer down that way.

Thats the benefit late summer has over other times. The two options are early fall or summer weather. Both are pretty nice. Different than say November when the option is 35F and rain vs 45F and rain. Both of those suck.

Ginx snewx
Reminds me of those late Feb Early March days where we grasp onto the 3 days of cold for snow, the realization that the season is quickly winding down hit me today.
