EastCoast NPZ
Another storm blew up in the wake of the first. This one a flush hit, but still on the edge. Branches down, patio furniture blown off, and at least another .5". Sun shining for most of it. Lol. Grateful for the rain and cooling my roof. Temp knocked down to 78F. wawarriors4
Outflow boundary came through Souther Stafford and knocked temp down by ten degrees. Was around 100, now sitting at 89.6 with a small thunderstorm with a lot of thunder and lightning nearby. Couple of decent towers. Structure from a distance looks really nice - even an anvil maybe starting. Will upload the timelapse to Youtube later on once it finishes. Kmlwx
More boundaries getting tossed out around the area. Looks like something sitting along Virginia Route 7 - with this much fuel some storms could definitely go big briefly. Should be mostly pulse stuff. showmethesnow
Just had about 10-15 minutes of marble sized hail and towards the end we were seeing hail about 2/3'rds the size of golf balls. Somewhat unsual storm in that it developed to the east of the area and expanded westward into my area.
jacindc
Car thermometer hit 104 on the SE/SW Freeway, dropped to 102 as I hit Virginia, then got down to 84 as I went out the GW Parkway and hot the spots where it had just rained.
poolz1
2 boundaries getting ready to combine over my general area. One moving south from the PA cell and one moving north from the convection to my south. Would love a garden soaker this evening.
showmethesnow
Getting somewhat impressive rain at this time with fairly strong winds as well. Quite a few twigs and small branches down. Very localized storm basically just in the Hanover area and surrounding suburbs to the east.

I drove back from the beach today, and my car thermometer which is pretty accurate (have checked it against reliable stations and it’s usually within a degree) was between 98-102 from just before the bay bridge all the way to takoma park on the beltway. Was 100-101 around Annapolis.
