NorthArlington101
Heaviest strip via radar and PWS is from Frederick down just west of 270 to ~CIA HQ and then into north Arlington. 3-5" in a short timeframe. That is awesome stuff. I'm over 2" so far. What a beast. Instantaneous and total in the two right columns. Wicked stuff. Radar is estimating 2.5” for my location and I doubt it’s super wrong. That would be in less than an hour.

NorthArlington101
This is very unique for this area. Not a lot of spaces here flood. Four Mile Run sometimes.... but water rescues in this neighborhood is something else. Radar estimate has me over 3”. It’s been an hour.

BlizzardNole
I was checking out the crazy pictures on WTOP and they had this blurb at the end of the article All eyes turn to the south next weekend, where forecast models are hinting at a possible tropical cyclone in the Gulf of Mexico. Long-range forecasts are hardly a given, but any storm that does develop in the gulf will need to be monitored for weather impacts in the D.C. region early next week.
