It’s been a hot summer to date since solstice. Let’s see how rest goes What are you talking about? Of course it changes. In winter CoC weather is winter weather with clear blue skies and people being able to recreate doing winter things. In the summer it's summer weather without too much humidity. What gave you the idea the the chamber wouldn't want perfect seasonable weather? That's all anyone is ever talking about. Besides, talk about moving goal posts, when did met summer start at the solstice? You also might want to fact check that's been hot since the solstice. I guess having highs in the 60s counts as hot now? Talk about moving the goal posts...

dendrite
The earliest talk of COC from Steve was June of 2014. Well, he can speak for himself but he didn't coin the term. I don't think the chamber of commerce in Stowe, VT would want to promote 75° weather day after day in January. Rather, I think it would want winter weather that month. However, it would want 72-75° with low humidity day after day in July.

Here's a public mention of it in 2008: https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Chamber of Commerce Weather It just means perfect weather to attract people to your location. That changes depending on the season and location, IMHO.

I'm just saying I feel like whenever we've talked about "COC" here it was for one of those "top 10" days of the year. Maybe I'm the minority on that.
