Let me start using downtown Hartford for overnight lows in the winter.

Drama . I dont know but if I worked at a TV station in HFD I would use that as my daily weather records since it is an ASOS.  I mean at least Logan is in Boston

He’s really hung up on it. . It’s a state record. We live here, so we experienced the hottest Julorch and hottest month in our states history. There’s no amount of spin that they can do. It’s ours

Who is hung up, what about the state rankings,  or is one airport all of CT. You are the obsessed OCD one here. I mean IJD is the same distance from you as BDL is from HFD,  you should use that

High dews and lots of SW flow killed the daytime heat there. Usually want more WNW or NW flow and lower dews to get those 91-93F+ readings.

So those at 945ft who upslope on SW flow probably ran relatively a bit cooler than say an interior tarmac in a N-S oriented valley.

One thing I thought about is the explosive development downwind to the SW of Logan, in the seaport area. For those that haven’t been there, it’s just nuts. There are buildings everywhere now. It’s always growing. However, that does not explain the weird warm reading with onshore flow.

It had a wicked signature over the lake. Not a good time to be on the water.

1 kayaker died this evening on Champlain, and 1 has been missing since the storms hit around 5pm.

Coast Guard plane from Cape Cod responding at request of the Burlington CG.  Sounds like they were searching via helicopter prior to sunset.
