Chances are there. Models getting a little more robust with MCS tomorrow afternoon for NNE.

I lean towards heat breaking with some convection vs. none.

All heat must come to an end.  Hopefully to the tune of some fireworks.  Fortunately this mild-up will only be two days.

I'm just spitballing here, but I'm curious if there is enough tree damage up in the north woods of WI that the GOES veggie band may be able to detect a scar tomorrow.

The satellite is so new I'm not exactly sure what we'll be able to see.

If the wind blows a big enough hole in the woods, it ought to be visible.  33 years ago (9/30/86, meaning significant leaf drop) straight line winds began their damage a half mile north of Eagle Lake (just south of Fort Kent) and 4 miles/600 acres later blew trees into the west end of Square Lake.  I'm sure that would've been visible from a long way off.  At its height, the wind snapped 12-14" diameter sugar maple a dozen feet from the ground, hitting them too suddenly to uproot.  I have no idea whether folks at CAR did a ground check to estimate wind speed, but my guess is 90-100 mph.

Too much cloud cover in WI right now to check.

Starting tomorrow through Thursday the highest temp forecast by NWS is 75F.

That’ll feel refreshing.  Highs mid-week may struggle to get to last night’s low of 72F.

Tuesday....Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s. Light and variable winds.

Tuesday Night...Partly cloudy. Lows in the lower 50s.

Wednesday...Partly sunny. Highs in the lower 70s.

Wednesday Night...Mostly clear. Lows in the lower 50s.
