SACRUS
Only caveat stopping 100's are the clouds in PA from the overnight storms which are plentiful in PA and heading this way over the next 3-4 hours, we'll see how much they breakup and burn off. Otherwise off to the races. 88 here at 9:20. Matching last time went to 99. hope these arent cached http://mp1.met.psu.edu/~fxg1/SAT_NE/anim8vis.html

purduewx80
convective temp of 97 on the OKX sounding. several weak convective shortwaves over PA w/ locally cooler 700 temps as well. all this should add up to some isolated air mass storms this afternoon, including on seabreezes, around the uhi and over the mountains. Cfa
89/79/104. Hot. Temp is on par with my last near-100, it was 90/74 at this time on July 1st, 2018. High was 99, from a low of 70. Nearby PWS did top 100, car thermometer peaked at 101 in the shade.
Isotherm
The 10AM + 10 rule is a general principle that works [approximately], barring any significant airmass advection vicissitudes, or cloud cover, etc. So anyone at 90F by 10AM has a fairly good chance at 100F.

Away from the coast yes. Winds really need to be wnw here to really roast, like last Sunday. For NJ it’s a different story.

If land breeze is not greater in force than the sea breeze, the areas within 5-7 miles of the coast will reach their peak 2pm or sooner.

These days have been rare last several years. good luck on

I've noticed over the years it's 9am here. In those cases it's usually around 100 by noon/1. Then the seabreeze kicks in.

SACRUS
We'll see if Judy Collins Clouds got in the way (of 100) plays later today, but certainly on our way if they dont. IS there anyone aware if the caching of live animated loops is a site issue or user (browser issue) It seems to affect each thread where you can only post one loop then subsequent loops are the wrong times or past day.
