Yup, I wouldn’t call it “summer drought” season here since we had our share of action, but yesterday was the very typical summer setup where storms die as soon as they reach a body of water. It certainly is compared to 9”. We’re in the midst of a wet pattern and swaths of LI find a way to see below normal precip. It’s mid summer and temps have been above normal, aside from like two bursts of heavy rain, July was bone dry. Grass is largely brown and trees are shedding leaves.
