Northern blvd was flooded in various parts from Great Neck to Greenvale. Had to drive in left lane to be safe. If you had an suv the right lane would be ok but some spots were 2-3’ deep it appeared. Hard to explain the feeling but it was like we were inside the cell, and the lightning was just dropping around us. There's lightning that's close, and there's that. It gusted to 26 mph at 8pm. It’s mounted slightly below the roof line so it does not get the full exposure to the wind.
