Very similar spot to last night. Up here it’s another light rain event that probably will not amount to more then .20” again.

2nd day in a row with severe hail in the cool sector and the steep mid-level lapse rates producing.

The good news is that despite all the tornado warnings yesterday, not a single report of a tornado in PA, NY or NJ yesterday.

Today the main threat area looks to be from I-80 on South however all areas should experience more thunderstorms.

Should see another area of moderate to heavy rain with isolated lightning over much of the area. Definitely below severe parameters until well SW of us.

Probably a better chance of some severe in the metro today.  Probably will see more heating and breaks in the clouds.  Also forward motion of the storms is likely to be faster across PA and NJ giving them less time to weaken

Is it faux pas to say that I'm getting weary of all the severe weather alerts? I'd like to have one or two days of sunshine before we come under direct threat of destructive tornadoes again..
